Today there are circa 24,000 fewer women in management positions in the hospitality sector than there were in 2010. Our survey of 100 Women in Hospitality was designed to: identify what today’s women in hospitality (contract catering sector) see as strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and find a way forward. Our research suggests whilst there is a huge staffing gap, women want to work in hospitality on re-entering the market (post motherhood) or starting it (from another sector or industry).
