National Civil War Centre

Newark will be the location of the first National Civil War Centre, in England. Surprisingly there isn't a venue that brings together artefacts, exhibits, arms and unique objects from possibly one of the most important events in our history.
A series of historic buildings are being refurbished, which will also encompass the Tourist Information Centre and will be linked to The Newark Palace Theatre. Turpin Smale Catering Consultants are working with architects and project managers, providing consultancy advice to Newark and Sherwood District Council.
The National Civil War centre opens in the spring of next year with the café opening in the autumn.
