Essex is most definitely on the foodie map!

29 Aug 2016 by Ian Doughty

What could always have been described as a bit of a culinary wasteland, save for one or two bright spots, such as The Talbooth in Dedham, Essex is now firmly on the map.

Chris and Jeff Galvin have transformed an ordinary roadside pub,The Green Man in Howe Street  into a restaurant and what we all hope will be a great local pub. The Green Man is one of the oldest pubs in the country, first opening it's doors in 1481. The building has been transformed over the past few months using local craftsmen and is scheduled to open in October.

Hopefully we'll see more additions to the Essex food map in the near future.
