We have been working with Goodwood Estate for the past two years to advise the events team on the catering contract using our catering consultancy expertise and industry contacts which has just been awarded to event caterer Rhubarb, who has won a significant new contract with the Goodwood Estate, beginning on the 1st January 2016.
Worth up to £60m, the deal will see Rhubarb using produce from the Goodwood Farm, where possible, and putting an emphasis on quintessentially English dishes for events including the Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood.
PB Jacobse, managing director at Rhubarb said: ‘We are incredibly proud to have been chosen by Goodwood and to be a part of the world’s leading sporting estate. This win is a real credit to Rhubarb and testament to the work we do every day across our portfolio. We look forward to working with the Goodwood team and to bringing a touch of Rhubarb magic to this historical estate.’
Lord March of Goodwood said: “We chose Rhubarb as I felt the passion for what they do, their attention to detail and their people really set them apart from the competition.”
We are also delighted to be continuing to advise the Goodwood team going forward.
