I visited Arcade London this week https://www.arcade-london.com/ one of London’s new food markets; what however marks this development out from the rest is the organisation and control. The kitchen structures and EPOS is provided by the venue as is the bar. The food operators only have to focus on their product and the items needed to deliver that product. If they do not make the sales targets another operator will be found!
Located on Tottenham Court Road beneath the Grade-II listed Centre Point tower starring an opening cast of: Tóu, an Insta-delectable katsu sandwich shop; a Lina Stores restaurant; Pastorcito, a new Mexican restaurant from the Harts Group with a rotating Pastor kebab; Oklava, peddler of Turkish delights; Chotto by Chotto Matte, an adaptation of Australian restaurateur Kurt Zdesar’s approach to Nikkei cuisine now renowned from Miami to Toronto; and much more.
There is also Pophams Bakery and Casita do Frango.
The design and integration of small operators into a space that could be a workplace catering operation shows an interesting opportunity!
